finding a race
So I spent quite a bit of time looking at races yesterday. I found 2 great sounding ones near San Francisco...one in Sonoma and one in Wildcat Canyon. They both sound amazing, but maybe too far away. I'm just not finding anything that I love in Florida. I'd like to find one in Florida because I like the idea of combining beach vacation with the race and getting together with family. I really like the idea of the one in New Orleans, but the date isn't good for me. I wish it were at the end of April for both my work and my training. The beginning of April is cutting it really close. My training program is 13 weeks.

California could be fun! How have you been searching? Sometimes it helps to use a few different race finders or even just google if you know the city...
ReplyDeleteI googled 10k races in May. I decided not to limit my search. It's amazing how many of the sites don't even say which state they are in. I guess they figure people just do them locally. It's kind of fun to look at them. Eventually, I'll get sick of it and make a decision.
